Town of Fabius

Offers a wide range of licensing, records, and informational services to town residents. Licensing and permits include marriage licenses, hunting/fishing/trapping licenses, disabled parking permits, dog licenses, block party permits, peddler/solicitor licenses, and racing/ wagering licenses.

Other services include processing passport applications as well as maintaining town records and archives. Prepares and collects property taxes for residents of the Town of Fabius from January through March 31st.

After March 31st all paperwork goes to the Onondaga County Finance Department’s Office.

Note: For tax payments only, the postmark is valid as the date due for the bill payment date. Late payments will be charged the interest due amount stated on the bill and will be returned to the taxpayer if the bill is not received on time. The postmark must reflect the due date to be considered on time.

Assesses and maintains all property records in the Town of Fabius.

Responsible for the enforcement of laws which relate to the construction, repair, demolition, removal, or relocation of buildings or structures. Also responsible for researching, establishing, maintaining and overseeing the implementation of general and specific/area plans for land use.

Maintains all town roads including paving & repair, snow removal, street sweeping, and signage in the Town of Fabius.

Handles legal matters including civil, criminal, small claims, and eviction cases within the Town of Fabius.

Provides dog control services for the Town of Fabius.
